ENVY - A short film about Identity and Jealousy.
This film explores themes of identity and envy, the self and the others first through a Visual Narrative and then through an artwork, tied together with a carefully thought out colour palette. It comments on the inherent sociality of self expression. I was responsible for writing, directing an editing the film. I'd like to thank Akkshita Swain who captured the concept and script beautifully with her cinematography and Manas Swarnkar for adding life to it by designing the audio. Special thanks to Nafisa for helping me with last minute shots.

Jab Chahe Tu - Album Artwork
Album artwork for Manas Swarnkar and Tejas's new single Jab Chahe Tu. The artwork was made by photographing an arrangement of random objects like a butterfly pendant, stapler pins, cotton and copper wire, positioned to form the hug you see. It truly felt like magic when this artwork came together like I wanted it to.
Khaamotion FanArt
Using my friend Nafisa, and Dot.'s album Khaamotion as muses, I painted this impressionist painting digitally.
Impressionism seems so synonymous with Khamotion; the commotion and the quiet existing at once.

Rahguzar Album Artwork
For Manas Swarnkar’s debut EP, I chose to go with a calming line work that represented the mood of the album which is also an abstract portrait of the artist.

Eclipse: An experimental mixed-media animation.
This mixed-media animation for the song Eclipse by Pink Floyd uses cut-out animation, traditional frame-by-frame animation, digital frame-by-frame animation, vector animation and motion graphics. The below is a 30 second clip of the same. This animation was part of my semester project and much like the parent album of this song, the methods used for it were quite experimental.

Corporateeee.
A poster about the corporate experience. Created to experiment with Adobe Illustrator's new 3D inflation, material and lighting features. And cope with corporate, of course.
Khumaar
Painted completely in Photoshop, for Abhishek Jangid’s debut single, I had the honor of painting the artist for the single’s artwork. Khumaar is a song about longing and pondering over the loss of a loved and desired one. The song takes you on a journey, almost like a bumpy train ride, with a mix of feelings ranging from tranquility to angst, often back and forth.
Since this was a debut single, the artist wished for the artwork to embody him, literally. It features the singer’s muffler, the notepad he used to write songs and of course, the singer himself. The colour scheme tried to inculcate a sense of hope amidst the storm, and this was done with the faint lighting in the cafe, as is seen on a rainy day.
I also created animations for the Spotify and Lyric Video backgrounds.
